billie Partners with Tree Canada

billie

[Ottawa, Ontario, December 19, 2018] – billie is proud to partner with Tree Canada as part of our commitment to sustainability. In recognition of our users achieving carbon avoidance objectives by completing challenges on our platform, billie will plant a tree in their name.

Starting January 2, 2019, billie, in partnership with Tree Canada, will plant a tree to celebrate the achievement of an individual avoiding the equivalent amount of CO2 sequestered by a full grown tree in Canada in a 20-year period.

In total, billie has committed to planting a minimum of 2,500 trees in 2019 with the Tree Canada National Greening program to recognize the contributions of billie users.

“People are starting to see that their individual actions within an organization can make a drastic impact in their workplace and in their local community. People are starting to change the way they work, and it’s exciting for them to start thinking about how the choices they make at work can have an overall impact on the planet!” – Jack Gulas, CEO billie

billie is excited to partner with Tree Canada as we continue to help companies make real change by changing workplace behaviours to be more sustainable and healthier.
